Flight Attendants make important decisions every day with information scattered across different systems.
MyCrewAI was created to make it easier to answer questions like:
- How much am I really going to get paid?
- Is this trip worth picking up?
- Should I take the cash trip or the higher-paying trip?
- Is my pairing likely to run into delays, ground stops, or diversions?
- What does an unusual CWA payroll or scheduling code mean?
Finding those answers often requires checking several sources, repeating the same calculations, and connecting information that was never designed to work together.
MyCrewAI brings practical tools together in one place so Flight Attendants can estimate pay, compare trips, review weather and airport disruptions, understand unusual CWA codes, and make better-informed decisions without starting from zero every time.
The goal is not to replace official Company or Union resources. The goal is to make everyday information easier to access, understand, and use.
Payroll Estimator
Know your paycheck before payday.
Flight Attendant pay can be difficult to predict. Even when the total TFP is known, the final paycheck may still change because of taxes, Crew Advance, 401(k) contributions, medical benefits, Union dues, state withholding, and other deductions.
That uncertainty can make it difficult to know whether picking up an additional trip is truly worthwhile—or whether much of the extra pay may be reduced by taxes and deductions.
Traditional payroll calculators often require users to enter the same information every time. MyCrewAI was designed to provide a more personalized and dynamic experience. Members can save their Pay Step, state, 401(k) percentage, Crew Advance information, and common deductions so those settings can be preloaded automatically.
How accurate is it?
The Payroll Estimator continues to improve. Some estimates have matched actual paychecks with approximately 98% accuracy. Other results may differ by $300 or more in either direction depending on the individual situation.
Differences may be caused by:
- Incorrect or incomplete user inputs
- Unusual tax withholding
- Missing or incorrectly entered deductions
- Crew Advance timing
- Benefits or payroll adjustments
- Items that do not appear clearly on the uploaded report
The Payroll Estimator provides a general idea of what a paycheck may look like. It should not be used to audit, correct, or dispute an official Southwest Airlines payroll statement. If a paycheck appears incorrect, verify it through the appropriate official Company or Union resources.
The long-term goal is to continue improving the model and move as close to complete accuracy as possible.

I wanted to know what kind of trip I was walking into before I ever left home.
Would there be thunderstorms?
Ground stops?
Diversions?
Hours of delays?
Could I avoid all of it—or maybe chase it if the trip was worth it?
The information already existed. The problem was that checking airport after airport, reading weather products, and trying to connect the dots simply took too much time.
So I built Weather Risk to do that work for me.
Today it analyzes an entire pairing, reviews weather along the route, and highlights the operational risks before the trip even begins.
Is MyCrewAI Free?
Built with passion. Supported by the community.
MyCrewAI has real operating costs. Hosting, AI processing, document extraction, software maintenance, and continued development all require ongoing funding.
The goal is to keep MyCrewAI free for Flight Attendants for as long as voluntary contributions can reasonably support the platform.

Every effort will be made to keep MyCrewAI supported by voluntary contributions—and free for the community—for as long as possible. Sharing MyCrewAI, reporting bugs, and suggesting improvements are also meaningful ways to support the project.

As of today, MyCrewAI isn't available on the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Publishing and maintaining apps in the stores comes with additional costs that I'd rather invest in building new tools and improving MyCrewAI itself.
The good news is that you can add MyCrewAI directly to your Home Screen and launch it almost like a native app.

Privacy
Your information belongs to you.
Payroll reports, paystubs, pairings, and screenshots are processed only to extract the letters, numbers, and other information required by the selected tool.
Uploaded files are processed temporarily and are not intended to become permanent records. They are automatically deleted after processing or after the configured short retention period.
Because the original file is not retained indefinitely, users may occasionally need to scan or upload a document again if the first attempt does not extract the required information successfully.
For additional privacy, members should crop or cover crew member names, employee numbers, and other unnecessary personal information whenever possible before uploading pairing screenshots or payroll documents.
Uploaded information is never sold, used for advertising, or shared for commercial marketing purposes. MyCrewAI uses the extracted information only to provide the requested calculation, analysis, or result.

It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Southwest Airlines, TWU Local 556, or any other Company, Union, or organization.
MyCrewAI provides informational tools and estimates. It does not replace official Company systems, Union Representatives, professional guidance, or official interpretations of policies and agreements.
Its purpose is to help Flight Attendants better understand available information, become familiar with relevant terminology, and feel more confident when discussing a potential issue with the Union or the Company.
Sometimes the most valuable thing is not immediately having the answer. It is knowing the right question to ask.
